Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Great Smoky Mountains National Park has a visitor center in the Sugarlands area, located just outside Gatlinburg, Tennessee at the entrance to the Park.
The visitor center provides information on the Park, including maps and other information. There is a fee for maps. The center also offers a brief movie about the Park and taxidermy displays of animals found throughout the Park.
The center has a bookstore which sells books about the Smoky Mountains, post cards, homemade jams and jellies, CDs, DVDs, and memorabilia.
There are restroom facilities at the visitor center, vending machines, and a water fountain.
Behind the visitor center is a handicapped accessible hiking trail which takes about 45 minutes to complete.

September - October: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
November: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
