River tubing
is a popular way to spend the day in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

River tubing begins Memorial Day weekend and continues through Labor Day weekend.

Tube trips include your tube, U.S. Coast Guard approved life preserver, shuttle service, and a relaxing float through the scenic Smokies.


Tube Rental Stations:


River Rage - Shuttles leave when you are ready. Restrooms and dressing rooms. Tube all day for $8, including shuttle and vests. Also offer an adventure float and family float.

Smoky Mountain River Rat - River tubing down a cool mountain river in Townsend.

Tube Junction - the oldest of the river tubing outfitters in Tube City - Townsend, TN, a second-generation outfit which started out more than twenty years ago with the classic black truck inner tubes. Also have modern multi-colored "ski" tubes.
