The Fall Season in Cades Cove

Fall in Cades Cove is a truly special time. The leaves begin to turn in mid-October, creating a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors.

The red, orange, and yellow hues of the trees contrast beautifully with the green of the fields and the blue of the sky. It's a photographer's dream! Wildlife is abundant, with deer, turkey, and black bear frequently spotted.

The cooler temperatures make it ideal for hiking and exploring the historic buildings. Be prepared for crowds, as the destination is particularly popular during peak foliage season.
